Los Lobos, the beloved Grammy®-winning band from East L.A., have announced their first annual music festival to be held in their hometown of Los Angeles at the iconic Greek Theatre on May 5, 2012. The 1st Annual Los Lobos Cinco de Mayo Festival will feature performances by preeminent LA bands Los Lobos, X and Mariachi El Bronx, with special guests Neko Case and Alejandro Escovedo joining Los Lobos on stage. The festival was born out of a desire to have a branded event for the community-conscious band to celebrate food, culture and music in their hometown. It promises to be an unforgettable night, taking place during the opening week of the Greek Theatre’s new season.

We think it's going to be a joyous and amazing evening of music.”

Los Lobos is currently on tour in support of Tin Can Trust, an album that speaks to the time and place in which it was conceived. Los Lobos is a band that has consistently evolved artistically while never losing sight of their humble roots.
