7 Year Itch-the Sultans of Satire Come to Westwood
See this politically incorrect, astute, hilarious comedy show and a portion of your ticket price will benefit the first Middle Eastern cultural arts center in Southern California! A guilt-free trip!
Hilarious! Outrageous! Politically incorrect! A show that's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick! Do you want satirical insights on the Middle East? Ready for a fresh and funny perspective on American and Middle Eastern life? Need to laugh about it all? The Sultans of Satire show features some of the best stand-up comedians today who just happen to be of Arab, Pakistani and Middle Eastern Jewish heritage. The Sultans of Satire, now the longest-running Middle Eastern stand-up show in the U.S., is a project of the Levantine Cultural Center, bridging cultures and building peace since 2001.
Proceeds from this evening benefit the Levantine Cultural Center, a 501c3 non-profit organization building a new Middle Eastern/North African cultural and community arts center for peace. Read all about it.
Don't miss this classic Levantine comedy show! More outrageous, more politically incorrect! Celebrating the 7th anniversary of the Sultans of Satire, the comedians perform at the Westwood Hills Congregational Church. Recent Sultans appearances include shows on the Comedy Central Stage, UC Berkeley and UCLA. This edition of Middle East Comic Relief features Omar Elba, Mona Shaikh, Mike Batayeh, Noël Elgrably and Sammy Obeid with a special appearance by Samson Koletkar from the Bay Area. More info/tix.
