Alafia this is Freedom Now special KPFK town hall forum agenda for Tues September 23 2008. Tonight we have as our very special guest the organizers and activist who represent the driving force for the movement in Los Angeles African community.
Though we have various ideologies, theologies, sub – cultures, we are united in our dedication to the defense of and the forward movement of- we a people darker than blue.
But this is our Freedom Now humble start and we will in the future provide a broader representation. Tonight we will have a open mike for the activist to present to you the listening audience a overview of their organization and What these activist want and need from the National and local political candidates and the US government. No one every ask we the people what we want?
So tonight is our opportunity to put it out there. Our special guest is 12 term former Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney a skilled veteran in the halls of congress and presidential candidate for the Green Party. She will make 2 brief presentation on the Black Manifesto a possible blueprint for activist in Los Angeles and Electoral disenfranchisement.
We will hold off of our African Drum Beat Historical Calendar and the Raising the Bars prison segment but the issue of Political prisoners will be address tonight.
