Alafia !  This is Freedom Now’s agenda for  October 21, 2008 consist of our regularily  schedule program  with  a fund drive pitch.. Due to the National Presidential debates  and the fund drive we have been off the air quite a bit. To maintain continuity with critical programming we will have our African Drum Beat Historical Calendar, our raising the Bars prison segment , a update on 3rd Party politics by Dan Debarr from WBAI and a  progress report by Presidential candidate  Cynthia McKinney the only candidate who has not given up the principles, the visions of a society free of all wars whether in Iraq, Afghanstan, the Sudan or Pakistan. Ms.McKinney   is campaigning  on  full employment, free health care, free education a host of positions that reflect a commitment 100% to the   poor, working and middle class of the US not the Corportacracy, Israel, and  G-8 nations. Though she is a long , long shot she represents the best in visions and principles of all the presidential canidates at a time of complete abdication of principles by progressives.
