Greetings! This is Sista Arisa with Freedom Now agenda for this Tues May 5. Freedom Now will have as our first guest Brotha JR the young, Minister of Information for the POCC, Prisoner of Consciousness Committee. He is also a Freedom Now correspondent in the Bay area and a KPFA radio host. JR is one of the remaining 4 activist charges with a felony behind the youth uprising against the BART; police assassination of Oscar Grant in Oakland California. He has also been targeted by the local European Newspaper “The East Bay Express” with the following headlines “JR Valrey is an Agent Provocateur”. This provocative, unsubstantiated whiteballing of JR is in essence an assault on future youth advocacy journalist who dare take a stand against the capitalist system.

  We will close out with Ashahed Muhammad, the Director of the Truth Establishment Institute and the official representative of the Final Call at the World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and related intolerance in Durban South Africa last month.
