    Alafia this is Sista Arisa with Freedom Now’s agenda for this Tues October 20,2009.

Mike Novick from the People Against Racist Terror and the Anti Racist Action will provide us as part of Freedom Now ‘White Studies Program” an analysis of recent actions by local racist and the responsibility specifically of Europeans in the battle against racism.

  Dedon will present the African drum beat historical calendar. Following  Freeway Ricky Ross a name synonomus with the  CIA and the Crack Cocaine epidemic of the 1980’s and 90 ties who was just recently release from prison  will provide us his insight into his role in this major epidemic that we are still recovering from.

  Our major theme will be a presentation that was to ocurr last week with  Nigerian Journalist Obi Egubuna . Brotha Obi will present the recent  challenges  to the people of Zimbawee. Obi is the US correspondent for the Zimbawee Herald . There has been 2 recent developments in the efforts by the US and British Imperialism to stop the land reclamation program that is not only historically inevitable but is in full gear in Zimbawee and inevitable through Africa were the land of Africans was stolen by European settlers.

 Our music mix will include: Zap Mama, Montell Williams, Paris, Wes Montgomery, the Revolutionaries, Immortal Techniques, Salif Keita & Kante Manfila, and  Litton Kwesi Johnson.
