     This is Sista Arisa with Freedom Now’s agenda for this Tues October 27,2009. Brotha

Dedon is in Libya ,North Africa for an Ideological conference on the Green Book & Pan Africanism. So--- a regular correspondent on Freedom Now as well as the past producer of KPFK’s Belize Carribbean Pulse-  Bilal Morris will host tonights program.

  Brotha Mateef will provide us with the Raising the Bars Prison Segment and Dedon has pre-recorded the African Drum Beat Historical Calendar.

  Our central theme will be to address the social crisis of gangs in the Caribbean and Central America. We will have a special emphasis on gangs in Belize and their inter-relationship to Los Angeles the home of the largest African Belizean community both in and out of Belize.

  Discussion the issue with us are 2 knowledgeable Brothas from the Belize. Bro Nuri Adkbar Estrada a well known activist and political analyst on Caribbean Affairs and Brother Jerome Strughn a sociologist who has studied Belizieans in the Diaspora. Both Brotha’s are no strange to KPF . We will open the telephone for discussion at the latter part of the program.
