Alafia Freedom Now’s agenda for this Tues January 19,2010 will cover the upcoming trial of Officer Johannes Mehserle the Ist on duty police officer to be tried for murder  in the state of California for the murder of Oscar Grant. Attorney Dante will provide a legal analysis and Brotha Age from the Los Angeles Committee for Justice for Asocar Grant will provide a update on local organizing efforts. We will follow with a special on the Crisis on Haiti with Pierre La Boisser of the Haitian Action Center, Cynthia McKinney for mer Congresswoman and Green Party Presidential candidate who had just return from Haiti and a commentary from Mumia Ab Jamal. Dedon will provide the African “Drum Beat Historical Calendar and our music mix will include: Zap Mama, Marvin Gaye, Changing Dub Bokman Express, Queene Eteime, Waberi, James Brown with clips from Dr.Martin Luther King and Muhammad Ali.
