Alafia this is Dedon Kamathi with Freedom Now’s agenda for this April 20,2010.

Freedom Now will have as our special guest Dr. Gerald Horne whose recent book Mau Mau in
Harlem which contrary to the title is about the Kikiku Land and Freedom Army of Kenya. Little has been written or broadcast about President Obama’s father and the political mileu which set in motion his being chosen by the US ruling class to be President of the United States. This book and our discussion will shed -a much need light on the US pre-occupation with Africa in general and a close look at Kenya.

  Mau Mau was the decisive force for not only the liberation of Kenya but the destruction of Europeans efforts to make Kenya a South Africa that is a European settler colony with Europeans have full rights and Africans disposses.Brotha Norman Richmond a broadcast journalist in Tornonto Canada will co-host this evening interview.
