        Jah Rastafari  in the spirit of our Rastafarian Brethren Bob Nesta Marley.  This is Dedon Kamathi with Freedom Nows agenda for  May 11, 2010. We will have 2 special guest. Dr. Michael Thelwell a former member of SNCC “the Student Non-Violent Co-Coordinating Committee” and author of “Ready For The Revolution” the definitive account of the civil rights and Black power movement from one of the main architects  Kwame Ture- Stokeley Carmichael .

   Kwame Ture and SNCC have been whiteballed from modern US history because of their bold stands on Israel, Black Power, Capitalism, Vietnam, and US  Imperialism. So our guest will provide another point of view  balancing the NAACP version of our-story.

     The recent 1000 points drop in the US stock market has been attributed to a computer glitch, a among other excuses which had the world eyes  riveted on the US and the potential of a stock market crash. Marxist Economist Ralph Schoeman a regular guest on Freedom Now and a programmer at WBAI our sister station in New York will unmasked the real economic forces in contradistinction to the  massive public relations campaign design to establish confidence in the US market . He will address the real forces that are driving the volatility of the US economy. Our guest is guaranteed to shock you with the science of the US economy.

   Mumia Abu Jamal from death row will commemorate the 25 anniversary of the Philadelphia Police bombing of the  residential neighborhood of MOVE in squashing the African autonomous ,communal environmentalist  organization  called MOVE.

   I will provide the African Drum Beat Historical Calendar with the inclusion of , women in the forward movement of humankind.
