We will close out with a interviewed with  Dr. Burns from the Council On Hemispheric Affairs on a recently published essay on “Thirst For Profit: Corporate Control of Water In Latin America”. Water has been characterized as the oil of the 21 Century –Blue Gold. If we look at Africa for instance the Sudan we see that the control of the Nile is central to the US , Israel objective. Dr. Burns will discuss the privitazation and commercialiszation of water with the case studies of Boliva, Venezuela and Peru.

Our music mix will include:\Zap Mama, Lee Morgan, Public Enemy, Soulflower, Scientist at the Dub,, Ghetto Blaster, Surgar Minot, MIA and Sista Waberi.

We got a jam pack program so kick back and enjoy this edutainment mix here at Freedom Now and as always we stand ready for the revolution.

Just a note we will be having Pan African Beach Day  July 18 from 1-10 pm and the 3rd Sunday of every month at Dockweiler Beach at the end of Imperial Blvd in Playa Del Rey. We will be giving updates. It is free and we will teaching surfing, caporea, African drumming, African dance, fishing, Volleyball. In this depression  we are seeking for African people to retake public spaces such as the beaches, mountains, dessert that for so long have been denied us due to Jim Crow and provide free, healthy entertainment for our people.
