    Greetings this is Dedon Kamathi with Freedom Nows agenda for this July 8,2011.   Hopefully you are vibing the music mix. As is our tradition we will have the African Drum Beat Historical Calendar where we keep alive those struggles of  she roes & heroes who have catapulted the inevitable march of humannity’ story forward with their conscious actions.

  We will have a discussion  with Dr. Ramarylian Baker the founder of the African American Women’s Association inside California Institution for Women in Corona ,California. .She will tell us her story and the birth of the Association as a vehicle for the empowerment of lock down sistas.

     We will follow with Lou  Vason the founder and producer of the upcoming  Bill Pickens rodeo the only Black rodeo in the US .Lou will discuss the history of African Cowboys which I guarantee will beak the myth that cowboys are Euro-America phenomenon.

  Sista Tej will provide some brief insight into the present Venezuela govt policies regarding Africans in Venezuela.

 We will close out  with a update on the US led NATO war of aggression in Libya by Akbar Muhammad the International Representative of the Nation of Islam
