Alafia ! Freedom Now’s agenda for this March 10,2012 will commence with the African Drum Beat historical calendar praising up our  She-ores and Heroes. We have centuries of struggles against the triples evil axis  of National (racism/ethnic ) ,Class and gender domination by .001%.

We will follow with 2 presentations juxtaposing the richest  resource country in the World, the Democratic Republic of the Congo which is also one of the poorest for the people and then look at one of the poorer countries in the world in terms of natural resources but is one of the richest in terms of its life indicators for example water, education,health,housing and  thee fastest growing economics in African Eritrea.


Strange juxtaposition but our purpose is to demonstrate the centrality of scientific socially organizing our nation in Africa devoid of foreign control.

Maurice Carney is Co-Founder & Executive Director of the Friends of Congo a multi-state  movement, which supports the progressive democratic, forces especially the youth in the Congo. Friends of the Congo lobbies against  the US and Canada’s and their respective Corporations and militaries to cease and desist in the largest massacre of human beings since WW2 over 5.5 million since 1995
