He was a key organizer with the Civil Rights movements SNICK - the Student Non-Violent Co-ordinating committee which were the students foot soldiers for the organization of African peasants in the South. The day to day, month to month grassroots works done by these students when the media wasn't around characterize the work of SNCC setting up the framework for SCLC and Dr. Martin Luther King. With the call for Black Power he transition to become the Minister of Information for the Black Panther Party. He continuted his Ideological and organization development by his relocation to Africa to join the global Pan African Movement as a member of the Convention Peoples's Party of Ghana under Kwame Nkrumah and the Party Democratic of Guinea under Sekou Toure . He became the lead organizer for the All African People's Revolutionary Party reflecting the Ideological evolution of the struggles of African people from a domestic US base to a global offensive rooted on the contient of Africa.
