Mary Anthony: A Life in Modern Dance profiles modern dance pioneer Mary Anthony, who for fifty years has inspired an international community of artists through her remarkable teaching, noted choreography, and spirited life. Directed by Tonia Shimin, this documentary sheds light not only on Mary Anthony’s artistry but on American modern dance itself. (2004, 65 min. No MPAA rating.)
