Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles, on the campus of L.A. LIVE. 
The Museum entrance is located on Figueroa Street.

Join us for this tribute to assist in the relocation of beloved L.A. 
jazz club, the Jazz Bakery! Held in the Museum's 200-seat GRAMMY Sound 
Stage, this exciting night will explore the musical traditions of both 
blues and bossa nova with performances by the Ernie Andrews Quartet 
and Dori Caymmi Quartet. 
The sets will be hosted (respectively) by K-JAZZ's Bubba Jackson and 
KPFK's Sergio Mielniczenko. 
Doors open at 7pm.

The electrifying sounds of Zap Mama are sure to amaze! Known for 
stretching the limits of the human voice, Zap Mama's music reflects 
and embraces the infectious beats of African rhythm. A Belgian-based 
musical group led by the sensuous voice of Marie Daulne, the group has 
worked with an expansive collection of artists including The Roots, 
Erykah Badu, Common, Talib Kweli and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. The 
evening will be filled with an exuberant potpourri of styles and 
influences as Zap Mama fuses African instrumentation, R&B and hip- 
hop.
