APRIL 24TH IS COMMEMORATED WORLD WIDE IN MEMORY OF THE 1.5 MILLION ARMENIANS WHO FELL VICTIM TO THE FIRST GENOCIDE OF THE 20TH CENTURY. THOUGH THE EVENTS OF 1915 ARE RECOGNIZED BY MOST COUNTRIES, BOTH THE US AND THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE 1915 ATROCITIES AS GENOCIDE; THUS CONTINUING THE LAST STAGE OF THE CRIME THROUGH DENIAL.
THIS WEEK RADIO INTIFADA WILL EXPLORE THE PLAUSIBLE SOLUTION FOR RECOGNITION AND THE BENEFITS OF SUCH ACTION BOTH FOR THE U.S AND THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY.

Dr.Samantha Power- With the Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University's Kennedy school of Government. Pulitzer price winner for her book, A Problem From Hell; America and the Age of Genocide. Dr.Power is currently on President Obama's National Security Council.
Dr. Richard Falk- Professor of International Law and International Studies, and UN Special Rapporteur for the Palestinian Territories.
Dr. Taner Akcam- Leading International authority on the Armenian Genocide and the first Turkish academic to acknowledge and openly discuss the Armenian atrocities.
