Just in time for Halloween, L.A. Theatre Works’ Radio Theatre Series broadcasts a double feature: The War of the Worlds, written by H.G. Wells, adapted by Howard Koch, and featuring Leonard Nimoy, John de Lancie, Brent Spiner and Gates McFadden; and The Lost World, written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, adapted by John DeLancie, and featuring Peter Paige, Josh Clark and Kyle Colerider-Krugh. The broadcast can be heard locally in Southern California on Sunday, October 28 from 8 -10 pm on KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles (98.7 FM in Santa Barbara, 99.5 FM in Ridgecrest/China Lake and 93.7 FM in Rancho Bernardo/North San Diego), and can also be streamed on demand at www.latw.org.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World is a rollicking adventure that follows a scientific expedition deep into the Amazon jungle – right back into the time of dinosaurs and cavemen. The broadcast includes a featurette on the Dinosaur Hall at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.
