Ron Hargrave, 80 year old musician, singer,songwriter, and grandfather will debut his new album of his favorite songs on the ukulele. Singing and playing with his daughter Miyuki Harley, with special guest Todd Hannigan and some of the best musicians in Ventura County, he's having a party at Zoey's Cafe!
Ron Hargrave is known for his hit song High School Confidential that he wrote with the killer, Jerry Lee Lewis. Because of his involvement in music at that time, he is in the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. Now he has turned his attention to the Ukulele!

Get your Aloha groove on with authentic Hawaiian "meles" from award-winning Hula Halau Keali'i O Nalani and contemporary Hawaiian music from master musician/singer-songwriter Willie K. Keali'i Ceballos, kumu hula of one of the few mainland hula schools invited to Hawaii's premier hula competition, creates a special presentation tracing the Tahiti to Hawaii migration of Pacific Islanders through "kahiko" (or ancient) and "auana" (or modern) hula. Asian American Music Festival
International Ukulele Superstar Jake Shimabukuro will be headlining the Saturday Evening show.
Jake Shimabukuro is recognized as one of the world's most exciting and innovative ukulele players and composers. Renowned for lightning-fast fingers and revolutionary playing techniques, Jake views the ukulele as an "untapped source of music with unlimited potential". His virtuosity defies label or category.
AAMF is a 3-day international music festival featuring concerts, dance, and educational programming. Formerly the Asian American Jazz Festival, AAMF was founded by Paul Im of Disruptive Management, LLC. The AAMF team is comprised of Los Angeles area presenters, entrepreneurs, and artists.

Ukulele Society of America (USA)
The group of 50+ ukulele players regularly meets on Thursday evenings in Carlsbad, CA (North San Diego County and South Orange County) to play ukulele, sing, and hula. Conducted by professional entertainer Pat 'Palika' Enos and often aided by the 101 year old, Duke of Uke, Bill Tapia. Guest Conductors also lead the group in song, a Kokua Team to help newcomers jam along on their first night, and an Open Mike to encourage advancing members to showcase their stuff. Our goals are to become a fun learning center for aspiring group leaders to learn from the pros and then move on to start and nurture their own groups across the country and to train our group members to lead small groups in outreach performances to the community (Children's hospital and Senior Centers).

It's large, eclectic membership gathers twice a month in Sherman Oaks for ukulele fun and fellowship.
The Jumpin Fleas play songs from every time and place, though there's a fondness for tin pan alley, jazz standards, comedy and folk songs. Led by professor of uke Clay Allen, the first hour of the fleas meeting in dedicated to improving the musicianship of the players. The second hour reviews the club's favorite songs of the day.
