The Baroque Ukulele book/CD

Classical ukulele player Tony Mizen has arranged 22 of the best-loved pieces from the Baroque era for reentrant GCEA tuning. This includes well-known works by J.S. Bach, Corelli, Handel, Pachelbel, Purcell and even an entire concerto by Vivaldi. All arrangements include ukulele tablature as well as music notation. A CD is included with beautiful performances of all the arrangements by Tony Mizen. Also featured is an overview of the music of the Baroque era and notes on each of the individual pieces.

Upcoming Events -

Friday, Feb 1, 2013 8:00 PM

Double Concert: Ukulele Bartt Warburton and Lil' Rev @ Coffee Gallery
It's a songwriter kind of night, with Bartt and Rev sharing the stage simultaneously. They'll be swapping songs, teaming up on some new tunes, and being as charming as a train in a fishbowl. Rev is on tour from Milwaukee, so catch him in this intimate theatre. Bartt usually plays L.A. shows with his band, but this time he's going solo. Rev's traditional tunes of trains and troubadours will juxtapose Bartt's romantic balladry and flashy Flamenculele fireworks. Reservations by phone are strongly recommended.
