Dr. Faviana Hirsch, of Coyote Radio and Latin American Journals Senior Correspondent, joins us for the first segment of today's show to discuss the Carpinteria�s school board vote last Tuesday night against the 15 member mascot advisory committee to retain almost all the Native American imagery across the Carpinteria high school campus where residents have cheered on the offensive logo, the Warriors, since 1928. Dr. Hirsch is a member of the mascot advisory committee.
