Dr. Terry Kupers, psychiatrist and expert on the psychological effects of prison conditions, including isolated confinement in supermaximum security units, discusses a shocking increase in suicides among California prisoners subjected to solitary confinement in so-called "Security Housing Units." Dr. Kupers is institute professor at The Wright Institute and distinguished life fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Gregory Koger, former prisoner and activist, faces 300 days in jail for video recording a statement against censorship by Sunsara Taylor at the "Ethical" Humanist Society of Chicago on November 1, 2009. The Illinois Supreme Court has refused to hear his case and now the State's Attorney has filed a motion to revoke Gregory's bail and send him back to jail immediately.
We talk to Gregory about this case, and how it's a threat to everyone who records protests and the actions of the police. Gregory should not be forced to spend even one more day in jail!
