LA Theatre Works, Sun. Jan. 26 at 10:00 pm, "Circumstances Affecting the Heat of the Sun's Rays" starring Emily Swallow and Geoffrey Arend

American scientist, inventor, and womens' rights activist, Eunice Newton Foote, in addition to being the first to show the connection with heat on Carbon Dioxide and the Greenhouse Effect, was also an editor on the proceedings of the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention and a signatory to the Declaration of Sentiments, during the first major gathering on women's rights.

This play is part of L.A. Theatre Works’ Relativity Series of science-themed plays. Lead funding for the Relativity Series is provided by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, bridging science and the arts in the modern world.
