In-person presentation by noted historian Dr. Gerald Horne, with appearances by Dr. Melina Abdullah of BLM-LA and "Move the Crowd" and Tej Grewall, producer of "Freedom Now". Several of Dr. Horne's most recent books will be available for signing. KPFK on-line donors will have an opportunity to meet-and-greet at an advance reception at 12:30; public talk begins at 1 PM.

Prolific historian Gerald Horne will speak in a rare in-person Los Angeles appearance to benefit KPFK. Dr. Horne's interviews are a regular feature on "Freedom Now," Saturdays on KPFK, and has been a regular on Margaret Prescod's "Sojourner Truth" roundtable.
